Firing of synapses

In the process of learning a new skill – at present for me that happens to be web development – creative ideas and possibilities burst into my mind in a flash ––  Create a link to such and such.  Write a page about this and that, which connects to the primary initiative for the site. Remember that inspiring passage from Stephenson’s book. Include that amazing photograph of the scene where…  –– But that flash sometimes does not leave a permanent memory of the vision.  So there is this remembrance of something I can’t quite keep track of, but I must trust that it is there.  Here’s where the stillness limb on the Tree of Contemplative Practice can help me refocus.  By centering and quieting the mind, I can trust that being present will create the space for consciously listening and pursing the path that is meant to be in this moment of now.
